I'm currently working with an established multidisciplinary practice to recruit an Architectural Technician to join their team in Lancashire. Key Responsibilities:
/n
/n
- Prepare and coordinate planning applications, technical drawings and associated documentation
/n
- Take projects from initial planning and design proposals through to detailed technical and construction stages
/n
- Carry out site visits and help ensure projects meet relevant building regulations, technical standards and requirements
/n
- Produce technical specifications, tender packages and comprehensive working drawing information
/n
- Work closely with colleagues, consultants and other project stakeholders to deliver projects effectively
/n
/n
Skills & Experience:
/n
/n
- Relevant qualification or degree in Architectural Technology
/n
- Previous post-qualification experience working as an Architectural Technician within a UK architectural practice
/n
- Strong working knowledge and proficiency in AutoCAD
/n
- Previous experience within the residential sector, ideally taking projects through multiple stages of delivery
/n
- Good technical understanding with the ability to produce clear and accurate drawing packages
/n
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
/n
- Strong communication, organisational and time-management abilities
/n
- Based within a commutable distance of Lancashire
/n
