Town Planner

Location: Bristol

Salary: Β£30-36,000

A leading, award-winning planning and design practice is looking to appoint a Town Planning Consultant to join its growing team in Bristol. The practice works across a broad range of sectors and scales, helping to deliver new communities, regenerate towns and cities, and support the infrastructure needed for sustainable economic growth and climate resilience.

Responsibilities

- Deliver planning projects across varied sectors.
/n
- Prepare planning applications and strategies.
/n
- Undertake policy research and site appraisals.
/n
- Support planning committees, appeals and hearings.
/n
- Manage projects, programmes and budgets.
/n
- Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.
/n
- Build strong client and stakeholder relationships.
/n
- Provide clear planning advice and reports.
/n
- Support bids, tenders and business development.
/n

Requirements

/n

/n
- Relevant planning degree and postgraduate qualification.
/n
- Sufficient UK planning experience.
/n
- Working towards or holding MRTPI.
/n
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
/n
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
/n
- Interest in placemaking and sustainable development.
/n
- Experience in multidisciplinary teams.
/n
- Strong organisation and project management skills.
/n
- Collaborative and proactive approach.
/n
