A leading UK environmental and engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Geotechnical Director to lead and grow its ground engineering offering in the South West. The Role
- Take ownership of the geotechnical function in the region, overseeing technical delivery while also playing a key role in winning and developing new business.
- Lead and develop a growing geotechnical team.
- Oversee delivery of site investigations, foundation design and risk assessments.
- Provide technical sign-off and maintain high quality standards.
- Build and manage key client relationships.
- Identify and secure new work across infrastructure, residential and commercial sectors.
- Collaborate with geo-environmental and planning teams on multidisciplinary projects.
About You
- Chartered (or working towards) in Civil Engineering, Geology or a related field.
- Strong background in geotechnical design and ground investigation.
- Proven experience in a senior or leadership position.
- Commercially aware, with a track record of winning work.
- Confident managing clients and leading projects.
