The Senior Geotechnical Engineer role entails:
- Leading and overseeing multiple geotechnical and geo‑environmental projects
- Preparing and reviewing fee proposals, scopes of work and technical reports
- Providing senior‑level input into ground investigations, interpretation and design
- Acting as a main technical point of contact for clients and design teams
- Mentoring junior and mid‑level engineers and contributing to senior operational discussions
Requirements for the Senior Geotechnical Engineer role:
- Chartered Engineer or Chartered Geologist (CEng or CGeol)
- Significant post‑graduate experience within UK consultancy
- Strong technical background in foundation design, piling and slope stability
- Confident working with ground investigation data and standards (BS 5930, BS 10175, Eurocode 7)
- Based in, or able to commute to Bodmin area
- Full right to work in the UK
