An exciting opportunity for a West Midlands based Geotechnical Engineer to join a team of Environmental Consultants has presented itself. This opportunity allows for technically challenging and industry leading work on a variety of projects.

Responsibilities:
This Senior Geotechnical Engineer position will involve a variety of roles and responsibilities. This includes overseeing all site and report work, managing contracts, communicating with clients, tendering, overseeing ground investigations, completing desk studies and interpretative report writing & reviewing. You’ll be in an excellent initial position to move into a managerial role, should you wish, taking on business development responsibilities and overseeing aspects of the company.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity and experience with UK site investigation techniques.
- Extensive experience working in the geotechnical industry and an understanding of geo-environmental schemes relating to contaminated land.
- A degree in geology, geotechnical engineering or a similar, relevant subject.
- Hold a valid UK Driving licence.
- Commutable to Birmingham.
- Proactive and able to work in high pressure situations.
This is a permanent role.
