Are you a Senior Civil Engineer looking to take technical ownership of infrastructure projects in Basingstoke? This opportunity offers project responsibility, mentoring exposure and clear progression within a respected multidisciplinary consultancy.

A well-established consultancy is strengthening its Basingstoke team and is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to deliver highways, drainage and development infrastructure projects across the South East. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will manage design delivery from concept through to completion while working closely with clients, contractors and internal teams.

The Senior Civil Engineer will take responsibility for project quality, programme and commercial performance while supporting junior engineers. This role suits someone who enjoys technical leadership, client contact and practical delivery within a collaborative regional team.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage civil engineering projects to programme and budget
  • Lead highways, drainage and infrastructure designs
  • Produce designs using Civil 3D or similar software
  • Ensure compliance with standards and client requirements
  • Liaise with clients, contractors and internal teams
  • Mentor junior engineers and support technical development
Candidate requirements
  • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or similar
  • Strong highways, drainage or infrastructure design experience
