A well-established and growing consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Engineering Geologist to join its Aberdeen team, with a strong focus on renewables projects. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a senior role within a supportive environment, working on impactful projects across the energy transition.
The Role
- You'll play a key role in delivering ground investigation and geoenvironmental projects across sectors such as offshore wind, onshore wind, and wider infrastructure.
- Planning, managing, and interpreting ground investigations for renewables schemes.
- Supervising site works including drilling, sampling, and logging.
- Providing geological and geotechnical input into design (foundations, earthworks, slope stability).
- Supporting offshore and onshore project delivery where required.
- Mentoring junior engineers and geologists.
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering Geology, Geology, or a related discipline.
- Experience working on infrastructure or energy/renewables projects.
- Experience supervising site works and managing projects.
- Full UK driving licence.
