Day-to-Day
Your daily activities will include:
- Designing and developing mechanical building services systems such as heating, ventilation, cooling, and domestic services.
- Collaborating with clients, contractors, and suppliers to deliver tailored solutions.
- Conducting technical assessments and simulations to ensure optimal system performance.
- Preparing technical documentation and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Supporting project delivery teams and overseeing the commissioning process.
Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering innovative and efficient building services solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing 2D and 3D CAD layouts and visuals.
- Supporting full mechanical building services design requirements.
- Conducting building environmental modelling using industry-standard software.
- Undertaking dynamic thermal simulations and summertime overheating assessments. xgikmsk
- Completing Part L calculations and preparing applications for incoming utilities.
