An exciting opportunity for a Hydraulic Modeller to join a growing consultancy in London, working on a range of flood risk, drainage and water management projects across the UK.

The Role

  • Develop and run 1D/2D hydraulic models using software such as Flood Modeller, TUFLOW and/or Info Works ICM.
  • Undertake flood risk assessments, hydraulic assessments and drainage studies.
  • Analyse model outputs and produce technical reports, drawings and flood mapping.
  • Support scheme development, including flood mitigation and drainage design.
  • Work closely with engineers, planners, environmental consultants and clients.
  • Contribute to projects from initial assessment through to detailed design and delivery.

The Candidate

  • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, Water Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience in hydraulic modelling and flood risk assessment.
  • Proficiency with TUFLOW, Flood Modeller, Info Works ICM or similar.
  • Strong GIS and data analysis skills.
  • Good technical report writing and communication skills.
  • Consultancy experience would be advantageous.
