Graduate Geotechnical Design Engineer (York)
A specialist Geotechnical Design Consultancy based in Leeds are seeking an ambitious graduate to join their team on a variety of exciting residential projects around the UK.
With support to chartership and an abundance of projects to work on, this is a great opportunity to kickstart your career and develop your skills.
The Graduate Geotechnical Design Engineer selected will be learning to develop ground models and designing structures including retaining walls, foundations, piles and reinforced soil slopes on a range of residential and commercial projects.
Engineers will also be conducting ground movement assessments and supporting the wider team.
The Graduate Geotechnical Design Engineer selected will be offered

- To be considered for the Graduate Geotechnical Design Engineer position you should:
- Have a degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering (with a geotechnical focus) or similar (MSc preferred).
- Have a full and clean UK Driving Licence.
- Be commutable to York and the surrounding area.
- Have a full right to work in the UK.
- Experience in Geotechnical Engineering and understanding of soil mechanics (with experience using softwares such as , Auto CAD, Excel, Alp, PDisp, Rocscience Slide, ADC Adsec, Oasys Pile and WALLAP) is preferable but not essential.
