This is an excellent opportunity for an Asbestos Bulk Analyst to join a respected consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality asbestos testing and consultancy services.
The successful candidate will play a key role within the laboratory, analysing asbestos bulk samples while maintaining the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and UKAS compliance.
THE ROLE
As an Asbestos Bulk Analyst, you will be responsible for the identification and analysis of asbestos-containing materials using polarised light microscopy (PLM) in accordance with HSG248 and UKAS procedures. Working within a busy laboratory environment, the Asbestos Bulk Analyst will ensure samples are processed efficiently, accurately, and within agreed turnaround times while maintaining detailed records and supporting quality assurance procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analysing asbestos bulk samples using polarised light microscopy (PLM)
- Identifying asbestos fibre types in accordance with relevant standards
