The Consultant Ecologist will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a range of projects from early-stage planning through to delivery and long-term habitat management. The role will provide exposure to BNG, Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, Ecological Impact Assessments and protected species surveys.
Requirements:
- Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or a related discipline
- Professional ecology consultancy experience
- Experience undertaking ecological surveys and assessments
- Knowledge of UK ecology and relevant legislation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Full right to work in the UK
- Living in or within a commutable distance of the Edinburgh office
- Desirable - protected species licenses + CIEEM membership
