Geoenvironmental Engineer
Location: Colchester
Salary: £30,000-£35,000

Key Responsibilities:
Undertaking Preliminary Risk Assessments (Phase 1 Desk Studies) and intrusive ground investigations
Assisting with the planning and supervision of Phase 2 site investigations
Carrying out soil and rock logging, groundwater and gas monitoring, and sampling activities
Supervising drilling rigs, excavation works, and subcontractors on site
Coordinating laboratory testing and interpreting geotechnical and environmental data
Assisting with geotechnical assessments including settlement and earthworks evaluations
Supporting remediation projects and validation works
Preparing technical reports including factual, interpretative, and remediation reports
Liaising with clients, contractors, regulators, and multidisciplinary design teams
Ensuring all site activities are carried out in accordance with health & safety and environmental regulations
