Duties for the role of Town Planner/Senior Town Planner:
- Provide planning advice to clients across various development projects
- Manage planning applications from inception through to determination
- Prepare planning appraisals and statements to support planning documentation
- Liaise with local planning authorities, clients and stakeholders
- Support strategic planning and development projects
Skills and experience for the role of Town Planner/Senior Town Planner:
- Degree within Town Planning or another related degree
- Relevant experience in a Town Planning role within a planning consultancy or local authority
- Strong working knowledge of the UK planning system and planning policy
- Previous experience with planning applications and development projects
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work well independently and within a team
- Achieved or working towards RTPI chartership
