Your Mission

As the People Business Partner for Continental Europe, you will play a key role in ensuring that people strategies are aligned with business goals across the region, including France, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, and Sweden. You will serve as an advisor and operational partner, overseeing the entire employee lifecycle and balancing compliance, talent development, employee experience and organisational effectiveness, while addressing the complexities of global, regional and local requirements.

You will collaborate closely with business leaders to inform and shape the people strategy, offering guidance on people practices like restructures and succession planning. Operating within a global matrix, you will also partner with global and central HR teams, including Recruitment and Learning & Development, to integrate HR strategies seamlessly into business operations.

This role is ideal for a HR professional with both operational and strategic expertise, looking to leverage data, AI, and technology to drive innovation and business success. You will be a trusted advisor, helping leaders navigate people challenges and achieve their goals through thoughtful, data-driven solutions.

What You\’ll Be Doing

Strategic HR Partnership:

  • Work with business leaders to inform the people strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives
    Collaborate with key stakeholders to address people challenges and identify priorities for future workforce needs.
    Provide guidance on people practices such as restructures, talent development, and succession planning

Operational Support & Employee Lifecycle Management:

  • Provide HR support on employee relations, compliance, policy-related matters, and annual budget planning.
  • Oversee the employee lifecycle from hire to exit, including managing absence and return-to-work processes.
  • Work alongside HR service providers in each country to ensure smooth payroll and administrative processes.

Change Management & Transformation:

  • Act as a key enabler of business transformation, providing HR support during change initiatives and ensuring smooth workforce transitions.

Process Standardisation Across Territories:

  • Develop and implement consistent HR processes across France, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, and Sweden, ensuring alignment with global best practices.
  • Identify areas for integration and standardisation to promote efficiency and ensure a consistent employee experience.

HR Operations & Service Improvement:

  • Partner with HR service providers to ensure smooth, efficient HR operations, including payroll, employee data management, and compliance.
    Collaborate with central HR teams to improve employee experience in key areas such as recruitment and talent development.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a strategic HRBP role.
  • Proven experience working across multiple European countries, with a strong understanding of local employment laws, particularly in France and Italy.
  • Experience in both operational HR and strategic people management, ideally within a global matrix structure.
  • Strong experience in talent management, employee relations, workforce planning, and performance management.
  • Proven experience working in multi-country environments, with the ability to navigate cultural differences and diverse workplace dynamics.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and build trusted relationships across the business.
  • Fluency in English required; proficiency in one or more regional languages (French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Swedish) preferred.
