At Penguin Random House, we are looking for a dedicated Senior Payroll Analyst to support our Group Salaries department during the critical Testing & Parallel run phases of our HRIS Programme. This role is essential in ensuring that our payroll operations run smoothly while our team transitions to the new HRIS system, Dayforce. You will play a key part in maintaining daily payroll tasks, allowing our team to focus on testing and training for the new system. This is a full time, fixed-term opportunity to join our team for 6 months. Key responsibilities: Maintain daily tasks within the payroll department, backfilling roles and responsibilities to free up team members for Testing (UAT) and Parallel run phases. Monitor enquiry clearance of shared mailbox. Complete complex calculations on Maternities, Long-Term Sickness (LTS), Statutory Sick Pay (SSP), and leavers. Process all Starters, Leavers, and Statutory Absence. Manage all adhoc data changes across 14 payrolls, including 1 Weekly payroll and 2 Pensioner payrolls. Handle all Pension related changes across 14 payrolls, including 1 Weekly payroll and 2 Pensioner payrolls. Process all Flexible Benefit changes across 14 payrolls, including 1 Weekly payroll and 2 Pensioner payrolls. Raise adhoc advances and 3rd party payments. Check team processing for accuracy.
