We’re looking for a Consumer Loyalty Executive to help shape the next chapter of our direct-to-consumer growth. This role is offered on a 12-month fixed term contract basis from our office in Embassy Gardens, London.
Reporting to the Head of Consumer Loyalty, As Consumer Loyalty Executive you’ll build and scale a high-performing email marketing programme that nurtures engaged audiences, delivers smartly segmented and personalised content, and ultimately drives measurable sales impact.
In this role you’ll play a key part in developing automated journeys and a consolidated email strategy that can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with leading paid newsletter channels in audience value and return on ad spend. Key responsibilities:
- Utilise existing platforms and data to implement a centralised email automation program with a lifecycle from acquisition, onboarding, lead generation, sales, and loyalty.
- Build, implement, and manage email automation flows and reusable templates with support from our Content team, ensuring these make best use of dynamic/conditional content.
- Understand and own the data and reporting for email, and utilise this data to continuously improve email results and create awareness of value.
- Set up regular test and learn campaigns that push our understanding of reader behaviours and align with our Consumer Insight into Action agenda, driving deep understanding of individual consumer segments.
- Write, repurpose, or adjust content from the content team as needed for the email channel.
- Build and track the performance of reusable custom audiences.
- Initially implement consumer loyalty plans with a focus on email channels, supporting the growth of automated marketing over time.
- Upskill and understand technical aspects of email and emerging consumer loyalty platforms and platform operations to drive campaign success.
What you’ll bring
Essential criteria:
- Proven experience as an Email Marketing Manager or Digital Marketing Specialist.
- Experience of using Iterable is highly desirable, alongside other email marketing platforms.
- Proficiency in marketing automation.
- Robust experience of creating mailing lists, building segments and journeys.
- Experience with email analytics, reporting and data analysis.
- Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
- Analytical mindset and comfort with marketing science methods.
- Ability to multi-task and collaborate across the multifunctional squad teams, working in sprints, building strong working relationships within Brand and our publishing divisions.

Salary
The salary band for this opportunity is £43,000-£45,000 depending on how your skills and experience align to the role, plus benefits.
Hybrid working
While our offices across the UK are places to connect, collaborate and celebrate with colleagues, we recognise that flexibility around where you work is just as important. For this role we expect that you will work from the Embassy Gardens office in London a minimum of 2 days per week, and be available to attend on other days as required by the business.
