Penguin Facilities Management (Penguin FM) is a leading provider of integrated maintenance services for commercial and public sector clients throughout the UK. Leveraging technology and a national network of skilled professionals, we play a key role in the day-to-day efficiency and overall success of our clients' properties.

This is a full-time hybrid position for a Business Development Manager, based in the North of England. In this role, you will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, and develop strategies to promote Penguin FM's services.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and delivering tailored presentations
  • Conducting market research
  • Negotiating contracts
  • Meeting sales targets
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction
  • Contributing to achieving company growth objectives

Qualifications:

  • Proven skills in Business Development, Client Relationship Management, and Sales Strategy
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
  • Experience in conducting Market Research and identifying business growth opportunities
  • Ability to meet sales targets and work collaboratively with diverse teams
  • Knowledge of the facilities management industry or related sectors is a plus
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proactive mindset and problem-solving capabilities
