At Penfold, we’re on a mission to help everyone save enough to be comfortable in later life by making pensions accessible and engaging. There’s over £1 trillion in UK pensions, yet the industry is still dominated by traditional providers with outdated products and poor customer experiences. Penfold is helping drag pensions into the modern era with technology that makes saving simple, transparent, and genuinely valuable. We’re a team of ~70 across London and Tallinn, backed by leading fintech investors, and currently manage over £1bn in pension assets for 100,000+ savers and thousands of businesses.
As we continue to scale, we’re looking for a Head of Growth to own and accelerate B2C revenue growth across our existing member base.
The Role
As Head of Growth, you’ll own the strategy and execution behind growing revenue per member across Penfold’s B2B2C model. You’ll sit at the intersection of Product, Data, Marketing and Client Success, building a structured growth engine that improves both customer engagement and commercial outcomes. You’ll focus on the drivers that increase long-term value per saver, including:
- Pension transfers and consolidation behaviour
- Monthly contribution levels and persistence
- Salary sacrifice adoption and optimisation
- Retention and long-term assets under management
Your goal is simple: understand what drives saver value up (or down) and systematically improve those drivers.
What You’ll Do
- Own B2C Revenue Growth
- Drive improvements in revenue per member and AUM growth
- Build forecasting models linking behavioural drivers to revenue outcomes
- Analyse performance across segments, employers and cohorts
- Lead Structured Growth Experiments
- Build and run a disciplined experimentation roadmap
- Test contribution nudges, transfer prompts, referral incentives and lifecycle interventions
- Partner with Product and Engineering to ship experiments quickly
- Optimise the Saver Lifecycle
- Develop lifecycle messaging across product, email and employer comms
- Increase salary sacrifice adoption and long-term engagement
- Partner with Client Success to improve employer engagement and contribution behaviour
- Identify characteristics of high-performing employer cohorts
- Develop scalable playbooks to drive employee participation
- Establish weekly growth reviews and performance dashboards
- Develop LTV modelling and long-term AUM forecasting
- Lay the foundations for a cross-functional growth squad
What We’re Looking For
Must have
- Proven experience owning revenue growth metrics in a product-led environment
- Strong analytical capability (SQL or equivalent, cohort analysis, revenue modelling)
- Deep experience running and interpreting A/B tests and experimentation programmes
- Experience analysing LTV, retention and monetisation drivers
- Strong cross-functional collaboration across Product, Engineering, Marketing and Customer teams
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, pensions, financial services, or regulated environments
- Experience in B2B2C or marketplace models
- Experience optimising savings or contribution behaviours
- Experience building or leading a growth squad
