We are seeking a highly organised, experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our finance team.

You will play a key role in month-end processes, maintaining financial trackers and monitoring budgets.

This is a permanent position and we are looking for someone to work 4 days (28 hours) per week and based at least 2 days per week from our Head Office in Notting Hill, the other two days may be worked from home.

To be invited to interview, you must be part-qualified or qualified by experience - ideally within a retail or e-commerce environment - and you must be able to demonstrate the relevant skills to perform what is demanded of the role.

You must possess a strong, demonstrable knowledge of the accounting principles and be able to apply them in practice.

We will expect you to have a solid understanding of accounting systems and fundamentals such as double-entry, accruals, prepayments, financial statements, posting journals etc, strong Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis etc) and any experience with accounting systems such as Xero will be a distinct advantage.

Our ideal candidate will be proactive by nature, have strong numeracy and analytical skills with excellent communication skills, comfortable communicating across all levels of the business.
