Part of the Building Access Specialist Divisions (BAS), Pendrich Height Services Ltd is a leading provider in specialised steeplejack and maintenance services across the UK. The company repairs and maintains tall structures such as industrial chimneys, towers, high rise blocks, monuments and bridges, offering expert solutions in structure assessments, repairs and maintenance for high rise and complex buildings. Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager who will be responsible for the safe, efficient and successful delivery of all site operations associated with the external fabric repair and refurbishment works. The role involves managing labour, subcontractors, materials, programme delivery, health and safety compliance, quality control and stakeholder engagement to ensure the project is completed to the required standards, within budget and on programme. The Site Manager will act as the principal point of contact on site and will ensure that all works are undertaken in accordance with project specifications, CDM 2015 Regulations, approved RAMS, conservation requirements and client expectations.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage day to day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to specification.
- Coordinate labour, subcontractors, suppliers and site logistics to maintain programme delivery.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, CDM 2015 and approved RAMS, carrying out inductions, toolbox talks and site inspections.
- Monitor quality standards, manage defects and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Act as the main point of contact on site, building strong relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders.
- Proven experience delivering refurbishment, restoration or external fabric repair projects, with strong leadership, communication and problem solving skills.
- Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office and reporting systems.
