We have an exciting opportunity to join our growing team as a Workshop Controller. In this role you are a key influencer who will work closely with both the Service Reception and Parts Teams. Become part of what is already a fantastic journey. The possibilities are endless.
What does the role of Workshop Controller involve?
- Accounting for and managing Technicians time when working on jobs.
- Ensuring Job Card write up compliance with regards to OEM Warranty Procedures.
- Managing and improving workshop Productivity and Efficiency by allocating the correct jobs to the correctly skilled technician.
- Identifying Technician Training Needs.
What do you need to succeed as a Workshop Controller?
- Proven experience within a service department in the motor industry.
- An excellent understanding of systems and processes operated to within this environment.
- A strong knowledge of Health and Safety.
- Confident with dealing with people at all levels, be able to build an immediate rapport.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Comfortable in negotiating and influencing situations.
- Lead by example to deliver an outstanding customer experience every time.
