The Senior Director, Demand Generation EMEA is a senior, hands‐on leadership role owning Pendo's marketing pipeline across the region — UK, DACH, France, Nordics, and the Netherlands. This is a rare opportunity to shape how Pendo grows across Europe. You'll work closely with regional sales leaders to build high‐performing, pipeline‐generating marketing programmes from the ground up — with real visibility into commercial leadership and a direct line into how new business and customer growth gets driven across EMEA.
We're not looking for someone to localise global campaigns. We're looking for a builder — someone who creates demand programmes from scratch, understands what resonates with European buyers, and can operate with genuine autonomy to lead the region. You'll report to the VP of Revenue Marketing, based in North America, and work as part of a small, focused EMEA marketing team. This is a hybrid role, based three days a week in our London office.
What this looks like day‐to‐day:
- Owning and delivering Pendo's EMEA pipeline contribution target across all segments and sub‐regions.
- Building original, EMEA‐first demand generation programmes — digital, ABM, and account‐based plays designed for European buyers.
- Partnering closely with EMEA Sales and Sale Leaders on account plans, pipeline coverage, and deal acceleration.
- Developing a coherent EMEA marketing strategy across diverse markets, languages, and buying behaviours — with particular depth in French and DACH.
- Serving as the primary EMEA voice in global marketing planning, advocating for regional needs and investment.
- Leading and developing the EMEA demand generation function, including the Director of Field Marketing.
- Defining the EMEA co‐marketing strategy with regional partners, resellers, and SIs.
- Owning EMEA marketing performance reporting — pipeline contribution, ROI, funnel conversion, and marketing‐attributed revenue.
Who You Are:
Beyond the qualifications, we hire through a specific lens. These aren't buzzwords; they're the things we'll actually look for in how you talk about your work. You're a builder, not a maintainer. You're most energized when there isn't a clear path yet, and you get to define it. You don't wait for direction; you identify gaps, shape solutions, and drive them forward. At Pendo, great Account Executives, Enterprise Sales don't just follow instructions; they operate as strategic advisors, influencing decisions, guiding stakeholders, and elevating how we work.
You're AI‐curious - genuinely. You're not using AI tools occasionally. You're rewiring how you work around them. You're faster, sharper, and more prolific because of it, and you bring that energy to everything — how you approach your work, how you prep, how you communicate, how you think. We want someone who sees AI as a multiplier, not a shortcut.
Must‐haves:
- 8+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience, with 3–5+ years in a senior demand generation or regional marketing leadership role.
- A proven track record of owning and hitting a pipeline number in a high‐growth environment.
- Experience building demand generation programmes from scratch — not adapting global campaigns for regional use.
- Multi‐market EMEA experience, with genuine depth in French and/or DACH markets.
- Experience working in or closely with a US‐headquartered company, working autonomously from Europe.
- Comfortable operating in a small, lean team with a high degree of autonomy — you move without being told to.
- Data‐driven, with confidence in attribution, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- A strong collaborator with Sales, and a people leader who builds high‐trust, high‐performance teams.
- Fluency in French or German — this is a non‐negotiable - we need you to understand the language but also the culture.
