The Pendlebury Centre is a Pupil Referral Unit with 6 Outstanding Ofsted Judgements. We are seeking a highly motivated caretaker.
Responsibilities include:
- Security of premises
- Correct operation of intruder and fire alarms
- Key holder duties
- Conducting a programme of health & safety checks to ensure compliance with legislation
- Working in close partnership with all staff
- Carrying out routine maintenance and basic repairs during the Centre day
- Managing work of contractors and monitoring external services
- Ensuring all grounds and garden areas are safe and maintained
- Supporting upgrading and improvement of the whole Centre
- In the event of cleaner absence, taking on daily cleaning of the Centre
The successful applicant’s appointment will be subject to satisfactory pre-employment clearances including a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
