Teacher of Science
We are looking for an enthusiastic classroom teacher who will teach the Science National Curriculum at KS3 and KS4, complementing a dedicated team of outstanding practitioners. The position covers staff absence and will run from September to December, with possible extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons in science for KS3 and KS4 levels.
- Develop and implement realistic teaching plans that support the curriculum.
- Use a range of instructional resources and technology.
- Monitor and support student learning and progress.
- Participate in curriculum development and teaching improvements.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching practice.
Qualifications & Attributes
- Experience as a science teacher or as an ECT.
- Passion for stimulating curiosity and enjoyment in science.
- Creative and professional teaching skills.
- High expectations for student achievement.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
