Female Personal Care Assistant

About the Role

Duties and responsibilities include supporting and prompting the individual with personal care such as toileting, showering/bathing, bed‑to‑chair transfers, dressing, and medication management. The role also involves assisting with cooking and meal preparation, encouraging socialisation and participation in activities, and fostering independence and friendships. The working relationship is one‑to‑one, with a focus on building trust and encouraging the individual’s participation in daily life. The job may involve additional duties as reasonably requested by the employer and may vary from day to day.

Only candidates over the legal age are eligible for this position, as the role requires administration of medication. Employees are responsible for reporting all accidents and hazards promptly to ensure the safety of the individual.

Due to the nature of the work, a satisfactory DBS disclosure is required (costs covered by the employer).

Hours per week: 8. Dates and times are flexible and can be discussed during the interview.
