About The Employer
I am a 27 year old lady who suffers with anxiety and depression. I also have a mood disorder known as EUPD (Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder) as well as a Learning Difficulty and dyslexia. I am looking for a female PA who can provide consistent support to build a trusting relationship to reduce my anxiety and reduce isolation. I wish to be supported to build further networks in the community. As my PA you will need to be patient and understanding and allow for periods when I may be experiencing dysregulated behaviour, you will need to understand what to do in a crisis situation and liaise with my family and friends and professionals to support me. You must be motivating but understanding. I also need a car driver/owner who can accompany me to medical appointments although the main support I require is at home to cope with every day life and tasks such as medication, correspondence, cooking and light housework. The PA must be comfortable around dogs as I have 3 Shar Pei's who are very important to me.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Support and/or prompt the individual to take medication.
- Assist with household chores and general homemaking.
- Support and/or prompt to attend appointments as necessary, e.g. hospital/doctors.
- Support and/or prompt the individual to access sporting and leisure activities.
- Assist and encourage socialisation, participating in activities.
- Promote and encourage friendships and independence.
- Develop a good and trusting one to one working relationship.
- Support with managing paperwork & correspondence.

The individual's needs may vary from day to day and your tasks may reflect this. You could be required to perform other duties as reasonably required.
