The predicted salary is between 12 - 15 £ per hour.
PA required for 4 hours on Saturdays during term time and 7 hours per week in holidays (time can be negotiated) to take on days out with my young son who is minimally speaking with ASD, ADHD, PICA, sensory processing disorder and epilepsy. The young person is toilet trained, fun and energetic and enjoys days out to trampolining, sealife, beach, gymnastics, soft play, cinema, shops. PA will need experience working with children with complex needs including non‑verbal communication. PA should also have basic first aid training and safeguarding training (can be provided if required). Ideally PA will hold a driving licence with access to own car and business insurance (business insurance can be claimed from employer).
About The Role
- Support and/or prompt with personal care, including toileting, showering/bathing, getting in and out of bed, and dressing.
- Support and/or prompt the individual to access sporting and leisure activities.
- Assist and encourage socialisation and participation in activities.
- Promote and encourage friendships and independence.
- Develop a good and trusting one‑to‑one working relationship.
- The individual's needs may vary from day to day and your tasks may reflect this. You could be required to perform other duties as reasonably required.
- You have a responsibility as an employee to report all accidents to the employer immediately. You have a duty to report defects and/or hazards that may give rise to an accident. You are to ensure the safety of the individual at all times.
- Due to the nature of the work for which you are applying, this post is subject to a satisfactory DBS disclosure (costs will be covered).

Working Hours
Hours per week: 4 hours per week term time, 7 hours per week in holidays. Saturday, 11am‑3pm. Dates and times are flexible and can be discussed at interview.
