The opportunity:
We're looking for a Brand Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team, reporting to the Head of Marketing. This is a key leadership role responsible for developing and delivering PenCarrie's Brand and Partner marketing strategy, creating integrated campaigns, customer initiatives and events that strengthen our market presence and support commercial growth. You'll work across the business to ensure customers receive a consistent and engaging experience throughout their journey with PenCarrie.
You'll lead a team of three marketing professionals, helping to develop capability, drive performance and foster a culture of creativity, accountability and continuous improvement. This role will follow our hybrid working policy. We welcome applications from candidates looking for a full‑time position.
What you'll be doing:
- You’ll play a key role in growing the PenCarrie brand, strengthening customer relationships and supporting commercial objectives through strategic, data‑led marketing activity.
- Brand & Campaign Management
- Lead the planning and delivery of multi‑channel marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement and growth.
- Develop clear campaign messaging, propositions and priorities aligned with business and partner objectives.
- Work closely with the creative team to bring marketing campaigns to life.
- Content, PR & Thought Leadership
- Oversee the creation of compelling content that reinforces PenCarrie's expertise and industry authority.
- Develop PR initiatives that enhance brand reputation and secure relevant industry coverage.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen PenCarrie's voice and influence within the market.
- Lead PenCarrie's presence at industry and customer events from planning and promotion through to delivery and evaluation.
- Develop customer marketing initiatives that increase engagement, loyalty and long‑term value.
- Ensure every event delivers a positive brand experience and measurable commercial outcomes.
- Partner with Sales to create tools, resources and campaigns that support customer acquisition and growth.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Digital and Customer Support teams to deliver a seamless customer experience across all touchpoints.
- Build strong relationships with partner brands and external agencies.
- Leadership & Performance
- Lead, coach and develop a team of three direct reports.
- Drive best practice, improve processes and ensure efficient delivery of marketing activity.
- Embed a culture of measurement, using insights and data to optimise performance and inform future decisions.
Person specification:
- Marketing qualification and at least 5 years’ relevant marketing experience.
- Proven experience within a B2B marketing environment.
- Strong commercial awareness and strategic planning capability.
- Experience planning and delivering events.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience leading and developing a small team.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience within apparel, textiles, distribution or a related B2B sector.
- Experience working with external agencies and partner brands.
- Strong understanding of content marketing, PR and integrated campaign delivery.
