We are looking for an experienced Team Lead / Senior Import Executive to join us. This role supports our Import Manager in overseeing daily import operations and ensuring smooth customs clearance and coordination with overseas partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Import Manager in managing daily import operations
- Coordinate import arrangements and provide operational support to the sales team
- Work with internal teams to improve operational processes and efficiency
- Liaise with overseas branches and appointed agents on shipment matters
- Ensure import procedures comply with company policies and ISO 9001 standards
- Act as a key point of contact for customs-related matters (Inter-Gateway permits)
- Prepare operational and performance reports for management
- Handle other import-related duties as required
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
- 3–6 years’ experience in import operations or freight forwarding
- Familiar with import documentation and customs procedures
- Strong coordination and organisational skills
- Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills (written and spoken)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
