Salaried GP in Ebbw Vale

Due to reduction in Partner sessions a 6 session salaried GP role with a view to partnership is available in Ebbw Vale which is in the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park. Open to experienced or newly qualified GPs.

The practice:

• Training practice – GP registrar and medical students
• 7 partners (including 2 previous trainees) and 2 salaried
• List size 9900 with a diverse patient cohort
• Mixture of 15 minute f2f appointments and 10 minute telephone appointments
• Friendly and supportive team with open communication actively encouraged
• Well trained admin and reception staff
• In house pharmacist
• Weekly physio appointments
• Strong links to social prescribers
• Emis clinical system with use of AccuRx
• Single site with free on site parking

Main duties of the job

To work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision ofmedical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standardof clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract.

The post holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medicalpractice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading byexample, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with themultidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Qualified GP
• MRCGP
• Vocation Training Certificate
• General Practitioner (Certificate of completion of training)
• Full GMC registration

Experience

• Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Experience of working within primary care
