We're looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Motor Claims Handler to join our specialist claims team with Pen Underwriting.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with end to end motor claims experience who enjoys building strong customer relationships and wants to work on a varied caseload that goes beyond standard motor claims.
Unlike many insurer environments where claims are allocated by claim type, you'll manage claims based on client accounts, taking ownership of customer relationships and handling a wide range of claims from first notification through to resolution.
Alongside traditional motor claims, you'll also gain exposure to unique environmental and fuel-related claims, offering the chance to develop expertise in an interesting and varied area.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast paced environment, managing their own workload and building long term customer relationships.
We offer comprehensive training, genuine progression opportunities and flexible hybrid working.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.
- How You'll Make An Impact
- Managing a portfolio of motor claims from FNOL through to settlement
- Handling both own damage and third party motor claims
- Managing credit hire, total loss and liability related claims
- Building strong relationships with clients, customers, brokers and suppliers
- Providing regular updates and guidance throughout the claims journey
- Prioritising and managing a high volume caseload in a fast paced environment
- Handling a unique range of environmental and fuel related claims alongside traditional motor claims
About You
- Experience handling motor claims throughout the full claims lifecycle, from FNOL through to resolution.
- Experience dealing with a broad range of motor claims, including own damage, third party, credit hire and total loss claims.
- Strong customer service, communication and relationship building skills.
- Ability to manage a busy caseload and prioritise competing demands effectively.
- Confident working in a fast paced environment and taking ownership of claims from start to finish.
- Enthusiastic, proactive and keen to learn new areas of claims handling, including environmental and fuel-related claims.
