This is a home‑based role, ideally located in the South Wales area, but we’re open to flexibility for the right candidate. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our client relationships, working closely with Local Authorities, Police and Fire Authorities, and Higher Education Institutions.
How You’ll Make An Impact:- Collaborate with underwriters, account handlers, claims team and other internal and external stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions.
- Support the implementation of the Regional Business Plan as required.
- Manage the renewal/tender process, including the completion of renewal reports and/or tender evaluation documents, engaging with both legal and compliance to ensure a compliant bid.
- Actively engage in national and regional events, including ALARM, Legal Panel updates and Insurance Officers Group meetings, taking the opportunities to network with brokers, clients, and suppliers.
- Your work will directly contribute to retaining and growing our client portfolio while supporting the implementation of our Regional Business Plan.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and prospects.
- Conduct business in an appropriate manner, adhering to the Standard Operating Procedure and all relevant policies and procedures.
- A passion for learning and professional development, with a commitment to achieving or working towards CII/ACII qualifications.
- A solid understanding of general insurance products, services, and classes of insurance.
- The ability to analyse and extract key information from documents like tenders and proposals.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Strong or willingness to develop presentation skills.
- A client-focused mindset, with a drive to deliver excellent outcomes.
- Proficiency in using MS Office and other relevant tools.
- Right to work in the UK.
