This role sits within the firm’s legal risk and compliance team and will involve advising on conflicts issues relating to new business intake, lateral hires, and ongoing client matters across a broad range of international practice areas. Key Responsibilities
- Review, analyse, and assess conflicts reports relating to new matters and lateral hires
- Advise lawyers and business stakeholders on conflicts, risk, and resolution strategies
- Prepare concise summaries highlighting key issues and proposed next steps
- Assist with drafting and reviewing waiver letters, engagement terms, and information barriers
- Support the development and enhancement of conflicts processes and procedures
- Deliver training and guidance on conflicts-related matters across the business
- Assist with the mentoring, training, and supervision of junior conflicts team members
- Work collaboratively with legal and operational teams to ensure matters are progressed efficiently
