Reporting to the Head of Corporate Risk & Governance, this position sits within a central function that oversees legal and regulatory risk across the firm’s global footprint. You’ll provide high-level support on client terms, supplier contracts, governance documents, and policy development, while advising on regulatory and compliance matters. This is a fast-paced and autonomous role with ample opportunity to contribute to strategic risk initiatives and cross-functional projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate client engagement letters, standard terms of business, and outside counsel guidelines
- Review and advise on bespoke client terms, supplier contracts, consultancy agreements, and procurement arrangements
- Draft and maintain firm policies (e.g. anti-bribery, insider dealing, hospitality & gifts)
- Advise on SRA regulatory requirements and assist with regulatory engagement and firm audits
- Handle complex conflicts issues and provide support to the Conflicts team
- Contribute to strategic firm initiatives, including new office openings and risk management reviews
