A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced corporate lawyer to step into a senior, strategic knowledge role within the London office of a US law firm. This is a senior position within the global Knowledge Management team, reporting to the Director of Knowledge Management (Europe & Asia) and working closely with the Corporate & Securities Knowledge Counsel and senior partners. The successful candidate will lead knowledge initiatives, streamline the creation and use of best-in-class legal resources, deliver engaging training, and identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency across the team’s client service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement knowledge management strategy aligned to the corporate team’s objectives.
  • Draft, update and maintain precedents, standard forms, best practice guides, and training materials.
  • Monitor legal and market developments, advising the team on risks, trends, and key changes.
  • Deliver and coordinate technical training internally and support client-facing knowledge initiatives.
  • Collaborate with legal tech, innovation, and project management teams to drive efficiency.
  • Support the capture and sharing of know-how across teams through platforms and process improvements.
  • Act as a sounding board on complex legal queries and provide risk mitigation advice when needed.
  • Assist with thought leadership content, legal updates, and other strategic client engagement tools.
