A leading international law firm is looking to appoint a Real Estate Disputes Knowledge Lawyer to join its highly regarded contentious property team. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced Knowledge Lawyer or a fee earner looking to transition into a knowledge-focused role, supporting a strong, collegiate and ambitious team on complex, high-value real estate disputes.

Why apply

  • A high-quality platform: The successful candidate will work with a respected real estate disputes team advising on sophisticated, often high-profile contentious property matters for an impressive client base.
  • A genuine knowledge-focused role: This is an opportunity to shape know-how, training, precedents and best practice across a busy and technically strong team.
  • Career development and collaboration: The firm offers strong support, mentoring and the chance to work closely with partners, fee earners, BD, marketing and the wider Knowledge Lawyer community.

The role will sit within a well-established disputes team that advises a broad range of clients on complex and commercially sensitive real estate litigation. The work spans a wide variety of contentious property matters, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to support lawyers with technical guidance, training, precedents and strategic know-how across a busy and varied practice.

Key responsibilities

  • Monitor legal, procedural and market developments in contentious real estate and turn them into clear, practical guidance.
  • Create, update and improve precedents, know-how, standard documents, playbooks and training materials.
  • Provide technical support to lawyers on complex real estate disputes and civil procedure issues.
  • Design and deliver internal and client training, both in person and virtually.
  • Support the development of consistent approaches to key dispute types and priority client work.
  • Work with Knowledge, BD and marketing teams on client updates, thought leadership and external-facing materials.
  • Contribute to wider knowledge management projects, including the use of legal technology and AI tools.

This role would suit a UK-qualified real estate disputes lawyer with at least 5 years’ PQE, whether currently fee earning and looking to transition into a Knowledge Lawyer role, or already working as a Knowledge Lawyer/PSL within contentious property. The successful candidate will have excellent technical knowledge, strong drafting and analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex legal developments into clear, commercial and practical guidance. The firm is looking for someone proactive, organised and collaborative, with confidence delivering training and building relationships across fee-earning teams, Knowledge, BD and wider business services functions.

This is a great opportunity for a real estate disputes lawyer seeking a more strategic, knowledge-led role within a leading international law firm offering hybrid working, a competitive salary and long-term career development.
