Working within a collaborative Risk & Compliance team, the successful candidate will provide practical, commercially focused advice to partners, lawyers and business services professionals on regulatory and professional conduct matters. The position offers a broad mix of advisory, policy and project work, with exposure to complex compliance issues across an international legal environment.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Advising on the SRA Standards and Regulations and wider legal and professional conduct obligations.
- Monitoring regulatory developments and supporting updates to internal policies, procedures and guidance.
- Assisting with regulatory incidents, potential breaches, internal investigations and compliance reporting.
- Reviewing compliance provisions in engagement letters, client terms and commercial agreements.
