An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment lawyer to join a leading London law firm as a Knowledge Lawyer within its Employment & Partnerships team in a part-time role. This position offers a stimulating mix of strategic, advisory, and collaborative work, ideal for a lawyer who enjoys staying close to the law while influencing how knowledge is shared and applied across the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance knowledge systems, precedents, and training programmes for the Employment & Partnerships group.
  • Ensure fee earners are equipped with the latest legal developments, resources, and best practices.
  • Support the group’s client-facing and thought-leadership initiatives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Knowledge, BD, and Risk & Compliance to promote consistency, quality, and innovation in client service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years PQE as an Employment lawyer (contentious or non-contentious).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the confidence to lead training.
  • A commercial mindset and understanding of how law firms operate.
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
  • A proactive, flexible, and collaborative approach to work.

Who this role would suit: This role would suit a technically strong Employment lawyer with proven experience in Employment law (exposure to contentious Partnership matters is ideal). You might be in a knowledge role or moving from fee-earning to focus on quality, insight, and collaboration.
