This is a permanent UK-based role supporting the global function with a strong focus on international restructuring, outsourcing, and transformation projects. Reporting into the senior employment legal team, you’ll provide expert legal advice to the HR function, legal & risk team, and wider business on a range of complex matters. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring best practice, consistency, and commercial solutions across jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on complex employee relations cases (e.g. grievance, disciplinary, performance, capability, investigations)
  • Manage employment litigation, including settlement negotiations and instruction of external counsel
  • Support major cross-border restructuring and outsourcing projects
  • Draft and review employment documentation (contracts, policies, reward frameworks)
  • Deliver clear, commercial legal advice to stakeholders across legal, HR, and the wider business
  • Provide legal support on the employment aspects of corporate transactions
  • Deliver training and employment law updates to internal teams

Who This Would Suit

This role would suit a pragmatic and commercially-minded employment lawyer with 6+ years’ PQE, ideally including in-house experience. A background working in a regulated or partnership environment is highly advantageous, as is experience managing employment matters across multiple jurisdictions. You\’ll need to be confident advising senior stakeholders, adept at managing sensitive or high-pressure issues, and comfortable working independently within a collaborative team structure.
