An excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented Vehicle Technician to join a busy and successful Mercedes-Benz dealership in Hatfield. Working within a premium manufacturer environment, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs while delivering the highest standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repair work to manufacturer standards.
  • Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults.
  • Carry out vehicle health checks and identify additional repair opportunities.
  • Complete all workshop documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Utilise manufacturer diagnostic equipment and systems.
  • Ensure work is completed within agreed timescales and quality standards.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
  • Support workshop efficiency and contribute to team performance targets.
Candidate RequirementsEssential
  • Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician, or Diagnostic Technician.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced workshop environment.
Desirable
  • Mercedes-Benz experience.
  • Franchise dealership background.
  • MOT Tester qualification.
  • Hybrid and EV accreditation.
  • Manufacturer training or certification.
