Vehicle Technician – Main Dealer, Fareham Location: Fareham Salary: Competitive basic + bonus + benefits Hours: Monday to Friday, full-time, permanent About the Role Our client, a respected main dealer in Newbury, is looking to recruit a qualified Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity to work Monday to Friday only, offering a great work-life balance alongside strong earning potential and ongoing training. The role will suit a skilled technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and thrives in a professional dealership environment. Key Responsibilities Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair work to manufacturer standards. Complete diagnostic investigations and identify faults accurately. Ensure all work is completed efficiently, within set timescales, and to a high standard. Conduct road tests where required. Maintain accurate service and repair records. Work collaboratively with service advisors and parts departments to ensure seamless customer service. Adhere to all health, safety, and compliance requirements. Skills & Experience Required NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) – essential. Previous experience working in a main dealer or independent garage environment. Strong technical and diagnostic ability. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work. Full UK driving licence.
