We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused individual to lead and oversee all operational, financial, and strategic aspects of the business. The role involves driving growth, maximising profitability, and ensuring operational excellence across all departments, while delivering outstanding customer experience and team performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business strategies to achieve operational and financial goals
- Lead, motivate and manage departmental managers (Sales, Aftersales, Parts, Finance, Admin)
- Monitor performance metrics, KPIs, budgets, and forecasts to drive business profitability
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders
- Oversee recruitment, training, and development of staff to ensure high-performing teams
- Identify opportunities for business growth and operational efficiencies
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior management or owners
- Act as the main decision-maker for operational challenges and escalations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a senior management role, ideally as a Head of Business, General Manager, or Operations Director
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with proven results
- Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills
- Experience managing multi-department operations
- Ability to develop and execute strategic plans
- Experience in the automotive or retail industry preferred but not essential
- Results-driven, adaptable, and able to make data-informed decisions
- Full UK driving licence
