Quantity Surveyor – Social Housing Wimbledon / Hybrid | Full-time | £52,000 – £65,000 DOE The Company We\’re representing a well-established construction and refurbishment contractor specialising in social housing. With a strong portfolio of frameworks and long-term contracts, they deliver high-quality projects across kitchen & bathroom programmes, void refurbishments, planned works, and external repairs. The Opportunity Our client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in cost management and contract delivery within the social housing sector, working on a variety of projects from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Manage budgets, cost plans, and project financials Oversee subcontractor procurement, tendering, and contract administration Prepare valuations, variations, and final accounts Produce regular cost reports and forecasts Work closely with clients, site teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery Ensure compliance with JCT contracts and company procedures What We\’re Looking For Minimum 3 years\’ experience as a QS within social housing Strong background in kitchens, bathrooms, voids, planned works, and externals Solid knowledge of JCT contracts and cost control processes Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills IT literate with good Excel and estimating software knowledge Ability to manage multiple projects independently What\’s On Offer Salary: £52,000 – £65,000 (depending on experience) Long-term frameworks and high-profile social housing projects Hybrid working (Wimbledon office / site / home) Supportive, collaborative environment with genuine career development
