Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor – London (Tooting) – Up to £85k + Bonus + Benefits

Pembrook Resourcing are proud to be recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a highly regarded developer, supporting the commercial delivery of one of London\’s landmark residential developments.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded individual to take ownership of a flagship project and play a key role in the continued growth of a prestigious, design‑led developer.

The Role

  • Take full commercial responsibility for a major London development project
  • Prepare and manage budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts
  • Lead subcontractor procurement, tender analysis, and contract negotiations
  • Administer subcontractor accounts, valuations, variations, and final settlements
  • Prepare and agree monthly applications for payment and internal CVRs
  • Monitor project financial performance and manage risk through proactive cost control
  • Maintain effective communication with internal teams, consultants, and stakeholders
  • Ensure accurate and timely commercial reporting in line with company standards
  • Manage contract compliance and change control procedures

The Ideal Candidate

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years\’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor role, ideally with a developer
  • Excellent knowledge of JCT contracts and construction law
  • Proven experience managing large-scale residential or mixed‑use projects
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and organisational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, COINS, and other commercial software
  • Confident in presenting commercial reports and leading meetings
  • Full UK driving licence
