Job Description New Car Sales Manager – Oxford £35,000 Basic Salary | £60,000 OTE | Company Car Overview We are seeking an ambitious and driven New Car Sales Manager to lead a successful dealership sales team in Oxford. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Automotive Sales Manager, Business Manager, or Transaction Manager looking to progress their career within a high-performing retail environment. You will be responsible for driving new vehicle sales performance, maximising profitability, developing the sales team, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. The role requires a hands-on leader who can inspire, coach, and motivate a team to consistently exceed targets. The Role As New Car Sales Manager, you will: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Sales Executives. Drive new vehicle sales performance, finance penetration, and ancillary product sales. Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales activity against agreed targets. Manage customer enquiries and ensure all leads are handled effectively. Support and coach the team through first and second-facing customer interactions. Maintain exceptional levels of customer satisfaction and brand standards. Manage vehicle stock levels, availability, and showroom presentation. Produce accurate sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis. Ensure full compliance with FCA regulations and dealership processes. Work closely with senior management to deliver departmental objectives and profitability targets. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will have: Previous experience as a Sales Manager, Business Manager, or Transaction Manager within a franchised dealership. A proven track record of delivering strong sales results and profitability. Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills. Excellent negotiation and customer relationship abilities. Commercial awareness with the ability to analyse performance data and implement improvement strategies. High levels of organisation and attention to detail. Full UK Driving Licence.
