MET Technician / Panel Beater – Job Description\\n\\nRole Overview\\nWe are seeking an experienced MET Technician / Panel Beater to carry out high-quality vehicle strip, repair, and refit work, ensuring all repairs are completed to manufacturer standards and within agreed timescales.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\n * \\n\\n Strip and refit vehicle panels, trims, and mechanical/electrical components\\n\\n * \\n\\n Carry out panel repairs and replacement to manufacturer repair methods\\n\\n * \\n\\n Diagnose and resolve fitment and alignment issues\\n\\n * \\n\\n Repair damaged body panels using approved repair techniques\\n\\n * \\n\\n Ensure correct operation of vehicle systems following refit\\n\\n * \\n\\n Liaise with estimators, painters, and workshop control to ensure smooth workflow\\n\\n * \\n\\n Maintain accurate job records and report additional damage where identified\\n\\n * \\n\\n Adhere to health & safety and quality control procedures\\n\\n * \\n\\n Maintain a clean and organised work area\\n\\nRequirements\\n\\n * \\n\\n Proven experience as an MET Technician and/or Panel Beater\\n\\n * \\n\\n NVQ Level 2/3 in Vehicle Body Repair or equivalent experience\\n\\n * \\n\\n Strong understanding of modern vehicle construction and materials\\n\\n * \\n\\n Ability to work to manufacturer standards and time targets\\n\\n * \\n\\n High attention to detail and pride in workmanship\\n\\n * \\n\\n Full UK driving licence\\n\\nDesirable\\n\\n * \\n\\n ATA accreditation\\n\\n * \\n\\n Experience within manufacturer-approved or insurance repair bodyshops\\n\\n * \\n\\n Knowledge of ADAS components and recalibration requirements\\n\\nWhat’s on Offer (optional section)\\n\\n * \\n\\n Competitive basic salary + bonus\\n\\n * \\n\\n Overtime available\\n\\n * \\n\\n Modern, well-equipped bodyshop\\n\\n * \\n\\n Ongoing training and manufacturer courses
