Overview
We are recruiting for an experienced and commercially driven Retail Manager to lead a successful automotive retail operation in Chigwell. This is a key leadership role, responsible for driving sales performance, managing the showroom team, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team to achieve and exceed targets
- Drive new and used vehicle sales performance and profitability
- Oversee day-to-day showroom operations
- Ensure exceptional customer experience and high CSI scores
- Monitor KPIs including volume, margin, finance, and add-on products
- Coach, train, and performance-manage the sales team
- Ensure FCA compliance and adherence to company processes
- Work closely with senior management to deliver business objectives
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Retail Manager or Sales Manager within automotive retail
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
- Results-driven with strong commercial awareness
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
- Sound knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance
- Full UK driving licence
