Pembrook Resourcing are currently seeking a Used Car Manager on behalf of their client, a well renowned dealership within the area. The Used Car Manager is an operational member of the Sales Team and will report to the Franchise Sales Manager. The Used Vehicle Manager will achieve sales and financial targets by the effective development of the Used Vehicle Sales Plans and Budgets.
Responsibilities
- To uphold the Brand values and Guidelines in the Used car arena.
- Purchase of used car stock from manufacturer remarketing facilities, attend auctions.
- Meeting or exceeding targets based on sales budget.
- Appraise & Coach the team to maximize their potential and the used car department's success.
- Ensure used car stock is managed in accordance to our used car 90-day policy guidelines.
- To manage the effective sale of current and ex demos.
- Ensure all non-brand cars are sent to our Too Good to Auction sites.
- Regularly review all pricing policies and deals.
- Monitor performance daily across the team and individually with the Franchise Manager.
- Monitor and control Preparation standards and costs.
- Reduce the Turnaround of used car prep times.
- Forecourt display standards and Management.
- Work closely with the Group Used car Buyer.
- Provide managerial support to the Franchise managers.
- Effective use of all Marketing options available to us.
