Aftersales Manager
The Role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Aftersales Manager to lead and develop the Service, Parts and Workshop functions within a busy automotive operation. This role is responsible for driving performance, profitability and customer satisfaction while ensuring full compliance with manufacturer and company standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operation of Service, Parts and Workshop departments
- Drive aftersales revenue, profitability and departmental KPIs
- Lead, motivate and develop Aftersales teams, including Service Advisors, Technicians and Parts staff
- Ensure outstanding customer experience and high CSI scores
- Maintain full compliance with manufacturer standards, health & safety and audit requirements
- Control departmental budgets, labour sales and parts margins
- Monitor productivity, efficiency and workshop utilisation
- Handle escalated customer issues and complaints professionally
- Work closely with the General Manager / Dealer Principal to implement business strategies
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience as an Aftersales Manager or strong Service Manager ready to step up
- Strong commercial awareness and KPI management experience
- Excellent leadership, communication and people management skills
- In-depth understanding of service, parts and workshop operations
- Confident managing performance, processes and compliance
- Experience working in a franchised dealership environment (preferred)
- Full UK driving licence
