Aftersales Manager

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Aftersales Manager to lead and develop the Service, Parts and Workshop functions within a busy automotive operation. This role is responsible for driving performance, profitability and customer satisfaction while ensuring full compliance with manufacturer and company standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of Service, Parts and Workshop departments
  • Drive aftersales revenue, profitability and departmental KPIs
  • Lead, motivate and develop Aftersales teams, including Service Advisors, Technicians and Parts staff
  • Ensure outstanding customer experience and high CSI scores
  • Maintain full compliance with manufacturer standards, health & safety and audit requirements
  • Control departmental budgets, labour sales and parts margins
  • Monitor productivity, efficiency and workshop utilisation
  • Handle escalated customer issues and complaints professionally
  • Work closely with the General Manager / Dealer Principal to implement business strategies

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience as an Aftersales Manager or strong Service Manager ready to step up
  • Strong commercial awareness and KPI management experience
  • Excellent leadership, communication and people management skills
  • In-depth understanding of service, parts and workshop operations
  • Confident managing performance, processes and compliance
  • Experience working in a franchised dealership environment (preferred)
  • Full UK driving licence
